Say it once. The whole house knows.
Arki keeps one household's week — the meals, the shopping list, the tasks, the notes and where things are kept — on a server the household owns. You talk to it through Claude or ChatGPT; anyone in the house can also just open the page.

The week, planned in one conversation
Start with the week's shape, not a blank menu. Say which night is late and who is away; Arki brings what is already planned, the dinners the house actually cooks and how many usually eat, and the draft lands on the week page where anyone can change it. For the Sunday talk itself, one read gives the meals, the tasks due and what the shop will need.

Stuck for one night? Ask what to make. The answer comes from the recipes this house actually cooks: the favourites, what was made lately, what was made often but not for a while. Name what is in the fridge and the saved recipes that use the most of it come first, with what else each one needs.

The plan survives contact with the week
Plans die because fixing them costs more than abandoning them. Here a change is one sentence: push a stretch of days forward, swap two, clear a night out, move one dinner. Nothing is retyped, nothing deleted. Say how big the batch was and how many ate, and Arki names the later dinner you could skip; it states, you decide.

The list writes itself
The shopping list is worked out from the coming days' plan, minus what is already at home, minus the staples you never want to see on it, plus whatever anyone said in passing. A dish planned by name with no recipe yet is listed as waiting, not quietly dropped. Open it in the shop, tap a line to cross it off, or copy it as plain text.

Things to do, said once
A task costs one sentence and asks for nothing back. A real deadline is a deadline; “sometime in November” is a start date, and it never turns red. Pick what you will actually do today and this week; last week's unfinished picks wait in their own fold. A dated line in a note is a task too, and a chore that comes every autumn is said once and stays out of sight until then.

“Where did we put…”
Every house runs on what one person remembers: where the skates went in spring, the neighbour's door code, which shop has the good rye bread. Written down once, in your own words, it is found by asking. When several things match, you get them all and choose. A photo goes on the note from chat, and a note can be for the parents only.
A note said in chat goes into the folder where notes like it already live; when Arki is not sure, it names the likely places and you pick. A note left unsorted offers “Siirrä kansioon …?” (file it in …?) on the notes page, one tap and undoable. Each note and folder can carry a one-line description of what is in it, written by you or kept current by your assistant. And a note can go out by link to someone outside the house, to read or to edit: an edit link always expires, and any link can be turned off at once.

Three pairs of skates in this house. Arki lists all three and marks the one that matched only inside another word; your assistant answers in a sentence.

Teach it how you live
Tell Arki once how you want things done: short answers, no cheering, never suggest running. Say it in chat or write it on the page; from then on every reply in that area carries it, in Claude, in ChatGPT, in any client you connect. Six short texts, yours alone to edit or restore, and none of them can change who sees what.

jos talous olet sinä · If the household is you
Nobody holds your week but you. Now something does.
A household of one still needs the week held: the gutters every autumn, the same five dinners in turn, the sauna project as one note with a count of what is done. Said once, there when you open it. The same chat keeps your training (sets by voice, a note for next time) and, only if you want it, what you ate; switch calorie logging off and there is no diary, no target and no budget.
The training plan can be any shape: A/B/C on set weekdays, push/pull/legs, a running week with distances. A day the plan rests says so.
How you feel takes a few words: a score from one to five and your own words, personal like your training and never shared with the house, with no streak to keep. Choose what Today should notice each day, the mood, the weigh-in, the training, and it lists what is still open under “Ei vielä tänään”; skipping one for a day is not a miss.

luottamus · Trust
Why you can trust it with the house
It is the household's own server, under its own domain and certificates: “where is my data” has a place for an answer. Food, weight and training stay personal; the plan, the list and the notes are shared, and a note can be for a smaller group. Arki ships no assistant of its own; yours reaches it over MCP. Nothing is final: every note keeps its versions, a wrong tick reopens, a removed note comes back for 30 days.
An encrypted copy of each night's backup leaves the server, and only a key the server does not hold opens it; a restore is rehearsed every month. A full security review in October 2026 found no way for one person or household to see another's data, and tests now point every chat tool and page that opens a row by its id at someone else's, and check that it refuses and changes nothing.

Where this stands
Arki is one household's own server, not a service; there is nothing to sign up for. If you're that household, log in and connect the assistant you already use. If you're curious, the tour walks through one week with it, in the product's own replies.
How the household connects its assistant
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector.
- Paste the household's Arki address.
- Log in with your Arki account when it asks. From then on, just talk.
ChatGPT connects too, through its developer-mode connector settings.
Something off on a page? “Palaute tästä näkymästä” (report this screen), at the foot of every page once you are in, sends your words with the page, the time and the screen size, a screenshot if you add one, and the feedback page shows when it was fixed.
